Gareth Abrego vs Charles Loar

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/02/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gareth Abrego (41(7) - 9) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Charles Loar(16 - 12) from Jackson, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abrego is on target with a left hook to Loar's body.  
Abrego is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Abrego steps inside.  Loar attempts to land a right uppercut, but Abrego sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abrego lands a left uppercut.  
Loar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Loar throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Abrego gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abrego hits home with a right hook.  
Abrego lands with a hard jab.  
Abrego lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Abrego attempts to land a right hook, but Loar slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Abrego drives a right uppercut into Loar's body.  Abrego ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Abrego pushes his forearm into Loar's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abrego walks Loar down, trapping him on the ropes.  Loar throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Abrego attempts to land a jab, but Loar slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Abrego's liver.  
Loar steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Abrego dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Abrego drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Loar forces Abrego to back into a neutral corner.  Loar finds the target with a jab.  
Loar connects with a stinging left hook.  
Abrego lands a cross to Loar's body.  
Abrego lands a firm left hook.  
Abrego is looking to close the distance.  Loar lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Abrego is on target with a left uppercut.  
Abrego connects with a firm left hook.  Abrego tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Loar is on target with a jab.

Loar is on target with a sharp cross.  
Abrego gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Loar almost instantly recovers. 
Loar drives a right hook into Abrego's body.  Abrego holds on to his opponent.  Loar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Abrego tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Loar behind the head. Abrego hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Abrego drives a sharp left uppercut into Loar's body.  LOAR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Abrego holds on to his opponent.  Abrego hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Loar recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
