Jay Carver vs Mark Mireles

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/02/2035 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jay Carver (27(1) - 13) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Mark Mireles(1 - 3) from Jacksonville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Carver lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mireles sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Mireles sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Carver lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Carver pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Carver pivots to the side of his opponent.  Carver is on target with a left hook.  Carver clinches his opponent.  Carver pushes his forearm into Mireles's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Carver.

Carver gets on the inside.  Carver sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Carver throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Mireles closes the distance.  Mireles sidesteps to the left of his opponent and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Carver's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Carver lands two jab's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mireles is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mireles is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Carver attempts to land a left hook, but Mireles blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Carver's body.  
Carver lands a cross.  
Mireles closes the distance.  Carver digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Carver lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carver throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mireles pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Mireles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Carver lands a sharp cross.
