Michi Shimizu vs Ryo Nomura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/02/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Shimizu (32(1) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryo Nomura(1 - 20) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Nomura gets on the inside.  Shimizu lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Nomura throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Shimizu time to recover.  
Nomura steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nomura pivots to the side of his opponent, but Shimizu digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shimizu lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shimizu is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Shimizu is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Shimizu hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Shimizu is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shimizu walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Nomura connects with a sharp right hook.  
Shimizu steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.
