Kris Peralez vs John Riddel

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/01/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kris Peralez (23 - 14(1)) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and John Riddel(0 - 12(1)) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Peralez gets on the inside.  Riddel lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Peralez pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Riddel is on target with a cross.  
Peralez closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Peralez gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Peralez is looking to close the distance.  Peralez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Riddel throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Peralez drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Peralez backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Riddel is whaling away with hooks, but Peralez keeps his defence tight.  
Riddel sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Peralez lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Riddel attempts to land a jab, but Peralez slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Riddel tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Peralez steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Riddel switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Peralez's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
