Arran Rossi vs Inigo Kemp

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/01/2035 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arran Rossi (32 - 7) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Inigo Kemp(2 - 11) from Gold Coast, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Rossi lands a stinging left hook.  
Rossi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kemp feints a left, and then attempts to land a cross, but Rossi slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rossi is on target with a jab.  
Rossi connects with a cross.  
Rossi tries to keep the action at long range.  Rossi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Rossi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rossi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Kemp walks Rossi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kemp quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Rossi lands a jab.

Kemp is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rossi hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Rossi pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Kemp pivots to the right of his opponent, but Rossi lands a jab.  
Rossi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rossi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Rossi switches the action to the outside.  Rossi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kemp finds the target with a jab.  
Kemp pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Kemp closes the distance.  Rossi drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Kemp closes the distance and walks Rossi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kemp goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Rossi time to recover.
