Matt Caudill vs David Docter

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/01/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Caudill (18 - 12) who hails from Fort Lauderdale, USA and David Docter(1 - 2) from Athens, USA.  

Round 1: 

Caudill drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Caudill is on target with a sharp cross.  
Caudill is on target with an overhand right.  
Docter is looking to close the distance and forces Caudill to back into the ropes.  Caudill digs in a left uppercut to Docter's liver.  
Caudill throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Caudill clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Docter pushes his forearm into Caudill's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Docter.  
Caudill quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Docter is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Caudill on the ropes.  Docter throws a right hook, but Caudill clinches his opponent.  Docter leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Caudill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Caudill lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Caudill holds on to his opponent.  Caudill leans on his opponent using all his weight. Caudill uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Docter's kidney. 
Caudill steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caudill switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Caudill lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Caudill feints a left, and then lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Caudill steps away from his opponent.  Caudill feints a left, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caudill feints a right, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Docter closes the distance and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.

Caudill is looking to keep his distance.  Caudill feints a left hook, but Docter ignores the feint and responds with a cross.  
Caudill is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Caudill feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.
