Mitsuru Hamasaki vs Kei Kaneko

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/01/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mitsuru Hamasaki (12 - 15) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kei Kaneko(0 - 11(1)) from Funabashi, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Hamasaki steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hamasaki advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Hamasaki lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hamasaki walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Hamasaki sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kaneko connects with a left hook.

Kaneko tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hamasaki walks his opponent into the corner.  Hamasaki lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hamasaki gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kaneko hits home with a stinging right hook.

Hamasaki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kaneko throws a left hook, but Hamasaki clinches his opponent.  Kaneko is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Hamasaki pushes his forearm into Kaneko's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hamasaki to stop fouling.  
Hamasaki forces Kaneko to back into the ropes.  Hamasaki pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Kaneko steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Kaneko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Kaneko tries to keep the action at long range.  Kaneko sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hamasaki is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kaneko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.
