Jiro Miki vs Hajime Kai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/01/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jiro Miki (36 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hajime Kai(4 - 11(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Miki is looking to keep his distance and connects with a firm cross.  
Miki steps to the outside.  Miki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Miki lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kai attempts to land a jab, but Miki sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kai cuts off the ring, trapping Miki in the corner.  Miki lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Miki sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Miki hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Kai attempts to land an overhand right, but Miki slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Kai lands a spiteful jab.  Kai attempts to land a left hook, but Miki dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Miki lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kai is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Miki blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Miki is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Miki tries to step out of his opponents range.  Miki feints a jab, but Kai is not fooled and is on target with a right hook.  
Kai pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
Kai is looking to close the distance.  Miki lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Miki is looking to keep his distance.  Miki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kai lands an overhand right.  Kai throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Kai's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Miki's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Kai drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Miki digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Miki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Miki drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.

Miki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Kai steps inside.  Miki lands a stinging right hook.  Miki clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Miki steps to the outside.  Miki drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Kai hits home with an overhand right.  Kai attempts to land a jab, but Miki sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Miki strikes his opponents body with a jab.
