Scott Routledge vs Denton Ritchey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/12/2034 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Scott Routledge (26(3) - 8) who hails from Rockford, USA and Denton Ritchey(6 - 10(1)) from San Antonio, USA.  

Round 1:

Routledge forces Ritchey to retreat onto the ropes.  Ritchey throws a right hook, but Routledge clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Routledge pushes his forearm into Ritchey's face.  The ref breaks Routledge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ritchey attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Routledge's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Routledge lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Routledge holds on to his opponent.  Routledge pushes his forearm into Ritchey's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ritchey lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Ritchey throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Routledge lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ritchey throws a left uppercut, but Routledge holds on to his opponent.  Ritchey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Routledge throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Routledge.  
Routledge lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
