Mike Waterston vs Sam Perkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/12/2034 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Waterston (32 - 9) who hails from Fontana, USA and Sam Perkins(5 - 18) from Nashville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Perkins sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Waterston lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Waterston sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with an overhand right.

Perkins manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Perkins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Perkins pivots from in front of his opponent, but Waterston is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Waterston steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Perkins walks Waterston down, trapping him on the ropes.  Perkins attempts to land a right hook, but Waterston slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Waterston switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Waterston finds the target with a jab.  
Perkins sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Waterston tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Perkins strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Waterston hits home with a cross.  
Waterston lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.

Perkins closes the distance.  Waterston is on target with a firm right hook.  Waterston tries to land a left uppercut, but Perkins sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
