Qalqandar Agaev vs Kei Hasegawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/11/2034 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Qalqandar Agaev (1 - 1) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Kei Hasegawa(1 - 6) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Agaev is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Agaev hits home with a stiff jab.  
Hasegawa advances into close range.  Agaev attempts to land a right hook, but Hasegawa blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Agaev feints a right hook, and then is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Agaev hits home with a cross.  
Agaev drives a right hook into Hasegawa's body.  
Agaev switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Hasegawa is looking to close the distance.  Agaev drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Agaev hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hasegawa closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Agaev steps to the outside.  Agaev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.

Agaev tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Agaev is on target with a cross.  
Hasegawa manages to force Agaev into the corner.  Hasegawa drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Agaev throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Agaev connects with a right hook.

Hasegawa gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Agaev steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Agaev finds the target with a jab.
