Eloy Coro vs Jose Jacobo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/10/2034 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Eloy Coro (14 - 9) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jose Jacobo(1 - 3) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Coro lands a jab.  
Jacobo tries to land a right hook, but Coro slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Coro steps to the outside.  Coro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Jacobo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Coro lands a jab.

Jacobo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Coro's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Jacobo gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Jacobo is on target with a left uppercut.  Jacobo throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Coro steps away from his opponent and hits home with a solid cross.  
Coro lands a jab to the body followed by two straights to the head.

Jacobo feints a right, and then throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jacobo digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Coro drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Jacobo is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Coro leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Jacobo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Coro.  
Coro tries to land a jab, but Jacobo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jacobo is on target with a solid cross.
