Mike Buchannon vs Chris Nesmith

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/10/2034 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Buchannon (19 - 15) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Chris Nesmith(2 - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  

Round 1: 

Buchannon steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Nesmith is whaling away with hooks, but Buchannon keeps his defence tight.  
Buchannon gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Buchannon lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Buchannon steps inside and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Buchannon closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Buchannon drives a stinging right hook into Nesmith's ribcage.  
Buchannon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Buchannon lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Nesmith is on target with a right uppercut.  Nesmith tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Nesmith's ribs.  
Nesmith is looking to close the distance.  Buchannon drives a left hook into Nesmith's body.  
Buchannon drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Buchannon gets on the inside.  Nesmith sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nesmith attempts to land a left hook, but Buchannon sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Nesmith quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Buchannon lands a spiteful jab.  
Nesmith gets on the inside.  Buchannon lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Buchannon drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Buchannon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Buchannon is looking to close the distance.  Nesmith pivots to the left of his opponent, but Buchannon lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nesmith lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Buchannon's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
