Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/10/2034 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quito Mato (5 - 12) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Sam Cubbison(0 - 5) from Warrington, UK.  

Round 1: 

Mato lands a sharp cross.

Mato is looking to close the distance.  Mato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cubbison tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mato tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Cubbison is looking to close the distance.  Mato lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mato switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cubbison's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Cubbison is on target with a left hook.  
Mato steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Mato clinches his opponent.  Cubbison leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mato's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mato lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cubbison closes the distance.  Cubbison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cubbison throws a left hook, but Mato clinches his opponent.  Mato is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mato hits home with a sharp jab.  
Cubbison closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Mato ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cubbison pushes his forearm into Mato's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mato closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
