Shaun Donohoe vs Matt Venters

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/10/2034 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shaun Donohoe (19 - 16) who hails from Boston, USA and Matt Venters(0 - 1) from Memphis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Venters manages to force Donohoe onto the ropes.  Donohoe lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Venters tries to step out of his opponents range.  Venters feints a left hook, and then attempts to land an overhand right, but Donohoe blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Venters's body.

Donohoe advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Donohoe steps inside.  Venters tries to land a right hook, but Donohoe slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Venters tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stiff jab.  
Donohoe lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Donohoe clinches his opponent.  Donohoe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Donohoe steps inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Donohoe is on target with a right hook.  
Donohoe throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Donohoe holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Donohoe pushes his forearm into Venters's face.  The referee warns Donohoe and breaks the clinch.
