Mirza Kuliev vs Jati Sitijenar

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/10/2034 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mirza Kuliev (2 - 1) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Jati Sitijenar(0 - 3(1)) from Palembang, Indonesia.  

Round 1: 

Sitijenar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kuliev finds the target with a jab.  Kuliev attempts to land a cross, but Sitijenar slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuliev advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Sitijenar's body.  
Kuliev throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Sitijenar time to recover.  
Sitijenar pivots from in front of his opponent, but Kuliev lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Sitijenar connects with a cross.  
Kuliev steps inside.  Kuliev pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kuliev tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sitijenar gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Kuliev closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Kuliev pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Sitijenar pivots to the side of his opponent, but Kuliev strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Kuliev lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sitijenar is on target with a cross.  
Kuliev hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kuliev's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Sitijenar is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sitijenar pivots to the left of his opponent, but Kuliev is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.
