Dave Clarin vs Rob Gayer

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/10/2034 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Clarin (23 - 10) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Rob Gayer(1 - 4) from Kansas City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Clarin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Gayer digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Gayer is on target with a jab.  
Gayer switches the action to the outside.  Clarin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Clarin closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Gayer steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Gayer is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Clarin closes the distance.  Gayer throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Clarin advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.

Gayer pivots to the left of his opponent, but Clarin is on target with a right hook.  
Gayer drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  Clarin ties up his opponent.  Clarin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Clarin to stop fouling.

Clarin manouvers Gayer into a neutral corner.  Clarin lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Clarin throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Clarin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Gayer pivots to the side of his opponent, but Clarin is on target with a jab.  
Clarin gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Clarin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gayer connects with a left uppercut.  Clarin ties up his opponent.  Clarin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gayer's kidney. 
Clarin lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Clarin attempts to land a left hook, but Gayer blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Clarin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Clarin throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Clarin clinches his opponent.  Clarin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Clarin lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Clarin ties up his opponent.  Clarin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Clarin hits home with a right uppercut.  
Clarin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gayer quickly recovers. 
Clarin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Clarin attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Gayer to the neutral corner.  He warns Clarin that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Clarin is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Clarin pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gayer throws a right hook, but Clarin clinches his opponent.  Clarin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Clarin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clarin is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gayer's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
