Dario Tovar vs Asif Begum

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/09/2034 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dario Tovar (6 - 12) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Asif Begum(1 - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Tovar is on target with a jab.  
Begum gets on the inside.  Begum pivots to the side of his opponent.  Begum attempts to land a right hook, but Tovar slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tovar steps away from his opponent.  Tovar circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Begum attempts to land a jab, but Tovar slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Begum advances into close range.  Tovar digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tovar closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Tovar switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Begum gets on the inside.  Tovar connects with a right hook.  
Tovar feints a left, and then is on target with a jab to Begum's body.  
Begum tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Begum manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Begum pivots to the side of his opponent, but Tovar drives a left hook into Begum's ribs.  
Begum hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tovar's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Begum steps inside.  Tovar is on target with a left uppercut.  
Tovar finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Begum connects with a cross.  
Begum is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a solid overhand left.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Begum's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
