Charlie Canino vs Mark Lamont

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/08/2034 from Charleston, USA:

The Charleston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Charlie Canino (46(4) - 13) who hails from San Francisco, USA and Mark Lamont(10 - 18(1)) from Charleston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lamont attempts to land a right hook, but Canino sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Canino steps to the outside.  Lamont attempts to land a cross, but Canino sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Lamont gets on the inside and lands a solid left uppercut.  Lamont throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Canino's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Lamont closes the distance.  Lamont throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Canino time to recover.  
Canino steps to the outside.  Canino feints a jab, tricking Lamont into launching a left hook counter.  Canino is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lamont closes the distance.  Canino lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
