Nick Forker vs Joel MacEwan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/08/2034 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nick Forker (20 - 20) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Joel MacEwan(3 - 10) from Nashville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Forker closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Forker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Forker manages to force MacEwan onto the ropes.  MacEwan connects with a left uppercut.  
Forker is looking to close the distance.  Forker sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
MacEwan is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
MacEwan tries to keep the action at long range.  Forker lands a jab.  
Forker advances into close range.  MacEwan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Forker time to recover.  
Forker tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.  
Forker connects with a solid cross.  
MacEwan tries to step out of his opponents range.  MacEwan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  MacEwan throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Forker advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Forker hits home with a firm cross.  
Forker connects with a left uppercut.  
MacEwan connects with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Forker's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Forker hits home with a left uppercut.  Forker clinches his opponent.  MacEwan pushes his forearm into Forker's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Forker hits home with a firm left hook.  
MacEwan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Forker throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Forker lands a right hook.  
Forker closes the distance.  Forker sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Forker switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Forker is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Forker steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
MacEwan finds the target with a jab.  
Forker advances into close range.  MacEwan throws a right hook, but Forker ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Forker pushes his forearm into MacEwan's face.  The referee warns Forker and breaks the clinch.

MacEwan steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but Forker blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Forker closes the distance.  MacEwan lands a firm left hook.

Forker gets on the inside.  MacEwan throws a left hook, but Forker ties up his opponent.  MacEwan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacEwan about fouling.

Forker walks MacEwan onto the ropes.  MacEwan is on target with a left hook.  
Forker tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
