The Oakland venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Rees (17 - 20) who hails from Modesto, USA and Kelsey Kirkeby(7 - 12) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  

Round 1:

Rees advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rees digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kirkeby attempts to land a jab, but Rees slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Rees gets on the inside.  Kirkeby is on target with a right hook to Rees's ribs.  Rees holds on to his opponent.  Rees pushes his forearm into Kirkeby's face.  The referee warns Rees and breaks the clinch.  
Rees is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Kirkeby steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Rees closes the distance and walks Kirkeby down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kirkeby throws a left hook, but Rees clinches his opponent.  Rees leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
