Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/07/2034 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Meston (12 - 7) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Gareth Arbuthnot(0 - 4) from Miami, USA.  

Round 1: 

Meston attempts to land a right hook, but Arbuthnot dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Meston lands with a solid jab.  Meston throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Meston attempts to land a cross, but Arbuthnot sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Meston connects with a firm right hook.  
Meston gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Meston lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Arbuthnot digs in a right hook to Meston's body.  Meston holds on to his opponent.  Meston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Meston pushes his forearm into Arbuthnot's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Meston.  
Arbuthnot is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Meston gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Meston throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Meston pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Meston steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Arbuthnot on the ropes.  Meston throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Arbuthnot's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Meston is on target with a right uppercut.  
Arbuthnot throws a left hook, but Meston holds on to his opponent.  Arbuthnot leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meston manouvers Arbuthnot onto the ropes.  Meston pivots to the right of his opponent, but Arbuthnot lands a left uppercut.  
Meston hits home with a cross.  
Arbuthnot sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.  
Arbuthnot feints a right, and then connects with a left hook.  
Meston pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Arbuthnot's body.  
Arbuthnot lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Arbuthnot steps inside.  Meston lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arbuthnot sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Meston is on target with a cross.  
Arbuthnot is looking to close the distance.  Meston is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Arbuthnot's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Meston sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Arbuthnot gets on the inside.  Meston lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arbuthnot throws a left hook, but Meston ties up his opponent.  Meston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Meston throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Meston holds on to his opponent.  Arbuthnot uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Meston behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meston is on target with a firm right hook.  
Meston drives a solid left hook into Arbuthnot's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARBUTHNOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Arbuthnot recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Arbuthnot steps inside.  Meston lands a right uppercut.  
Meston lands with a ramrod jab.
