Gareth Abrego vs Arnie Crosser

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/07/2034 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gareth Abrego (33(1) - 9) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Arnie Crosser(2 - 1) from Albuquerque, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abrego is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Abrego ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Abrego pushes his forearm into Crosser's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Crosser lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Crosser lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Abrego sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Crosser throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Abrego is on target with a right hook.  
Abrego closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abrego lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abrego is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Abrego sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abrego tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abrego cuts off the ring, trapping Crosser on the ropes.  Abrego lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Abrego clinches his opponent.  Abrego is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abrego.  
Abrego lands a sharp right hook.  
Crosser lands a left hook.  
Crosser tries to keep the action at long range.  Crosser feints a left, and then attempts to land a cross, but Abrego slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abrego throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Abrego clinches his opponent.  Abrego uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Crosser behind the head. The ref breaks Abrego's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crosser pivots from in front of his opponent.  Crosser tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abrego lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Crosser sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Abrego digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abrego closes the distance and drives a left hook into Crosser's body.  
Abrego is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Crosser pivots from in front of his opponent, but Abrego lands a left uppercut.  
Crosser tries to step out of his opponents range.  Crosser quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Abrego lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abrego advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING CROSSER DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.

Abrego senses Crosser is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Abrego lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND CROSSER IS DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Crosser is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Abrego!
