Theo Craigen vs Paul Molpus

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/07/2034 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Theo Craigen (4 - 13) who hails from Worcester, USA and Paul Molpus(4 - 2) from Oklahoma City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craigen steps inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Molpus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Craigen advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Molpus lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Craigen lands a right hook.  
Craigen closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Craigen walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Molpus lands a sharp jab.  
Craigen closes the distance.  Craigen sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Molpus is on target with a left uppercut.  
Molpus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Craigen is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craigen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Craigen manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Craigen is on target with a left hook.  Craigen throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Craigen drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Craigen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Molpus contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Craigen lands a left hook.  
Molpus forces Craigen to back into the corner.  Molpus hits home with a left uppercut.  
Molpus pivots to the left of his opponent.  Craigen tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Craigen's body.  
Craigen digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Molpus is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Craigen throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Craigen lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Molpus throws a left hook, but Craigen clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Molpus pushes his forearm into Craigen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Molpus about fouling.
