Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/06/2034 from Oakland, USA:

The Oakland venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Rees (15 - 20) who hails from Modesto, USA and Wasaki Katusha(4 - 11) from Lusaka, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Katusha is on target with a jab.

Rees hits home with a solid cross.  
Katusha steps to the outside.  Rees lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Katusha tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rees finds the target with a jab.  
Katusha lands a solid cross.  
Rees advances into close range.  Rees attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Katusha to the neutral corner.  He warns Rees that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.

Katusha snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Rees advances into close range.  Katusha is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Rees connects with a solid right hook.  
Katusha is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Katusha is on target with a left uppercut to Rees's body.  Rees holds on to his opponent.  Rees pushes his forearm into Katusha's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rees.

Rees quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rees is on target with a right hook.  Rees ties up his opponent.  Rees is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Rees's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
