Nick Forker vs Timofei Filippov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/05/2034 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nick Forker (17 - 20) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Timofei Filippov(2 - 9(1)) from Kiev, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Filippov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Filippov advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Forker switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Filippov walks Forker down, trapping him on the ropes.  Filippov tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Filippov's liver.

Filippov gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Filippov is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Forker is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Forker is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Forker hits home with a left hook.  
Filippov is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Forker clinches his opponent.  Forker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Forker uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Filippov's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Forker.

Forker steps away from his opponent.  Forker feints a right hook, and then lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Forker feints a left, and then attempts to land a jab, but Filippov sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Filippov is looking to close the distance and walks Forker onto the ropes.  Filippov throws a right hook, but Forker clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Filippov pushes his forearm into Forker's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Filippov about fouling.  
Filippov steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  Filippov throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Filippov throws a left uppercut, but Forker holds on to his opponent.  Forker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Forker's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Forker feints a jab, tricking Filippov into throwing a cross counter.  Forker springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut to Filippov's ribcage.  
Forker lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Filippov gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Forker lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Filippov steps inside and drives a stinging right uppercut into Forker's body.  Filippov attempts to land a left hook, but Forker dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Forker is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to Filippov's body.
