Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/05/2034 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Cook (17(1) - 9) who hails from Boston, USA and Jake Blevins(0 - 2(1)) from Las Vegas, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cook is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Blevins attempts to land a left hook, but Cook parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Cook lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cook is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cook quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blevins lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Cook clinches his opponent.  Cook tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Blevins behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cook hits home with a left hook.  
Cook gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Cook hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Cook is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Cook throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cook advances into close range and digs in a sharp left hook to Blevins's liver.  
Cook closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Blevins pivots to the left of his opponent.  Blevins throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Cook advances into close range.  Blevins throws a right hook, but Cook ties up his opponent.  Cook pushes his forearm into Blevins's face.  The referee warns Cook and breaks the clinch.  
Cook lands a cross.  
Cook steps inside and whips in a spiteful right hook to Blevins's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BLEVINS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cook holds on to his opponent.  Cook leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Cook tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  Blevins quickly recovers. 
Cook drives a solid right hook into Blevins's body.  
Cook lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cook advances into close range and lands a right hook.  Cook throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cook gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Blevins throws a right hook, but Cook ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Blevins pushes his forearm into Cook's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Blevins to stop fouling.  
Cook throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Cook's ribs.  
Cook lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Blevins pivots to the left of his opponent, but Cook lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cook advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cook lands a stinging jab.  
Cook is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Cook clinches his opponent.  Blevins leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cook uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Blevins behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cook about fouling.  
Blevins stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Cook hits home with a right hook.
