John Cotts vs Spencer Galeas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/04/2034 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Cotts (16 - 17) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Spencer Galeas(4 - 11) from Tacoma, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cotts steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Galeas lands a hard jab.  Galeas attempts to land a cross, but Cotts blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cotts lands a ramrod jab.  
Galeas gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Cotts on the ropes.  Galeas is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Galeas cuts off the ring, trapping Cotts on the ropes.  Cotts lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cotts steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Galeas pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Cotts finds the target with a jab.  
Cotts steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  Cotts throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Galeas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cotts throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cotts's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
