The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Cook (16(1) - 9) who hails from Boston, USA and Rob Beattie(2 - 2) from Providence, USA.

Cook is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Cook clinches his opponent.  Cook pushes his forearm into Beattie's face.  The referee warns Cook and breaks the clinch.

Cook gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Cook holds on to his opponent.  Cook tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Beattie's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cook.  
Beattie attempts to land a cross, but Cook slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Beattie is looking to keep his distance.  Cook connects with a solid cross.  
Cook lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS BEATTIE DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Beattie quickly recovers. 
Cook advances into close range and manouvers Beattie into a corner.  Beattie throws a right uppercut, but Cook holds on to his opponent.  Cook leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Beattie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cook behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Beattie.  
Cook sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Cook lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Cook is on target with a cross.  
Cook throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Cook clinches his opponent.  Cook is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Cook's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
