Brett Nzau vs Charlie Chimera

Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2034,  taking place on 26/03/2034 from Athi River, Kenya:

The Athi River venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brett Nzau (1 - 16) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Charlie Chimera(31(4) - 17) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Nzau throws a left uppercut, but Chimera clinches his opponent.  Chimera leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Chimera's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nzau steps away from his opponent.  Chimera lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Chimera gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Nzau's body.  
Nzau lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nzau is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Chimera parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chimera closes the distance.  Chimera pivots to the right of his opponent.  Chimera throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Chimera clinches his opponent.  Chimera leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Chimera pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nzau throws a left hook, but Chimera holds on to his opponent.  Nzau pushes his forearm into Chimera's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nzau about fouling.  
Chimera is looking to close the distance.  Chimera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Chimera drives a left hook into Nzau's body.  
Chimera is on target with a left uppercut.  
Chimera lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Chimera holds on to his opponent.  Chimera uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nzau's kidney. 
Chimera lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chimera digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE NZAU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Nzau recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chimera digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Chimera lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chimera connects with a left uppercut.  
Chimera drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Chimera connects with a right hook.  
Chimera lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nzau steps away from his opponent.  Chimera lands a ramrod jab.  
Chimera steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nzau almost instantly recovers. 
Nzau lands a right hook.  
Chimera walks Nzau onto the ropes.  Chimera lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Chimera ties up his opponent.  Chimera pushes his forearm into Nzau's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Nzau recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nzau lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Nzau feints a right, and then throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Nzau closes the distance.  Chimera lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nzau quickly recovers. 
Nzau switches the action to the outside.  Chimera attempts to land a cross, but Nzau sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Chimera's liver.  
Chimera steps inside and drives a right hook into Nzau's ribcage.  
Chimera lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Chimera lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Chimera lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Chimera ties up his opponent.  Chimera pushes his forearm into Nzau's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chimera to stop fouling.  
Nzau throws a left hook, but Chimera ties up his opponent.  Chimera is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nzau drives a right hook into Chimera's ribs.  
Chimera lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chimera lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING NZAU TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Chimera!
