Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/03/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fumio Sonoda (18(1) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeo Kawakami(4 - 4) from Yokohama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Sonoda advances into close range.  Kawakami attempts to land a left hook, but Sonoda slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Kawakami attempts to land a right hook, but Sonoda sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Sonoda is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kawakami pivots to the side of his opponent, but Sonoda finds the target with a jab.  
Sonoda advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Sonoda clinches his opponent.  Kawakami leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
