Cong Chern vs Yo Pau

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/03/2034 from Beijing, China:

The Beijing venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cong Chern (10 - 12) who hails from Beijing, China and Yo Pau(6 - 15) from Xuzhou, China.  

Round 1: 

Chern steps to the outside.  Pau attempts to land a jab, but Chern dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pau lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pau is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Pau tries to land a cross, but Chern slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pau forces Chern to retreat onto the ropes.  Pau throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chern steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp cross to Pau's body.  
Pau pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Pau walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pau is on target with a cross to Chern's body.

Pau sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chern throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Chern's body.

Chern advances into close range and throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Chern clinches his opponent.  Chern uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pau's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
