Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/02/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryuu Nakatomi (8 - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeshi Sakurai(2 - 6) from Fuji, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Nakatomi closes the distance.  Sakurai is on target with a sharp left hook.

Sakurai pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sakurai connects with a sharp cross.  Sakurai throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sakurai forces Nakatomi to back into the ropes.  Sakurai sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Nakatomi advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Sakurai's body.  Nakatomi ties up his opponent.  Nakatomi pushes his forearm into Sakurai's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nakatomi.  
Nakatomi drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.

Nakatomi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sakurai throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
