Gaston Rigaudeau vs Chris Keay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/01/2034 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gaston Rigaudeau (5 - 9) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Chris Keay(0 - 3) from Hamilton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Keay is looking to close the distance.  Keay pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Rigaudeau is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Rigaudeau throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Rigaudeau's body.  
Keay steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Keay closes the distance.  Keay pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Keay pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Rigaudeau is looking to keep his distance.  Keay goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Rigaudeau to the neutral corner.  He warns Keay that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Rigaudeau switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Rigaudeau hits the target with a stinging jab.

Rigaudeau switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Keay throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Rigaudeau lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rigaudeau is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a stiff jab.  
Keay connects with a cross.  
Keay lands a cross.  
Keay gets on the inside.  Keay sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rigaudeau's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Keay's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
