Patrick Mohan vs Chris McLean

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/10/2033 from Cork, Ireland:

The Cork venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Patrick Mohan (1 - 7) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Chris McLean(2 - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Mohan drives a stinging right uppercut into McLean's ribs.  
Mohan is looking to keep his distance.  Mohan feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.  
McLean pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mohan steps inside.  McLean goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Mohan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
McLean gets on the inside.  McLean pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

McLean manouvers Mohan onto the ropes.  McLean lands a right uppercut.  McLean throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McLean closes the distance.  Mohan hits home with a left hook.  
Mohan is on target with a cross.  
Mohan attempts to land a jab, but McLean sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

McLean leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mohan accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on McLean.  
Mohan gets on the inside.  Mohan sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but McLean lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
McLean advances into close range.  Mohan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mohan is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
McLean is looking to close the distance.  Mohan is on target with a right hook.  
Mohan gets on the inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
McLean is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Mohan steps inside.  McLean lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
McLean switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Mohan slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mohan throws a left hook, but McLean holds on to his opponent.  Mohan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks McLean's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McLean closes the distance and lands a left hook.
