Heikki Savela vs Riku Jokinen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/06/2033 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Heikki Savela (2 - 6) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Riku Jokinen(1 - 6) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Jokinen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Savela lands a right uppercut.  
Jokinen steps inside and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Jokinen digs in a left uppercut to Savela's body.  
Jokinen digs in a right uppercut to Savela's ribcage.  
Savela switches the action to the outside.  Jokinen lands an overhand right.  
Jokinen lands a cross.  
Jokinen gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Jokinen pivots from in front of his opponent, but Savela is on target with a right hook to Jokinen's body.  
Jokinen cuts off the ring, trapping Savela on the ropes.  Jokinen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Savela's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Jokinen finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Jokinen closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Savela attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Jokinen to the neutral corner.  He tells Savela he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Savela pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Jokinen's ribcage.  
Jokinen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Savela tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  Savela tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Savela is on target with a cross.  
Jokinen closes the distance and manages to force Savela onto the ropes.  Jokinen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jokinen attempts to land a left uppercut, but Savela blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jokinen connects with a left uppercut.  
Jokinen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Savela time to recover.

Jokinen is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Jokinen lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
