Jack Gawley vs Tapu Pepene

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2033,  taking place on 11/04/2033 from Wellington, New Zealand:

The Wellington venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jack Gawley (6 - 10) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Tapu Pepene(21 - 20) from Wellington, New Zealand.

Gawley sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Pepene lands a sharp cross.  
Pepene steps inside.  Pepene pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to Gawley's ribcage.  
Pepene is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Pepene pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Pepene pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Pepene lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Pepene tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a ramrod jab.  Pepene throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pepene is looking to close the distance.  Pepene pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.
