The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Theo Palin (0 - 1) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Shaun Fridge(2 - 17) from Georgetown, Guyana.

Fridge advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Fridge holds on to his opponent.  Fridge leans on his opponent using all his weight. Fridge is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fridge about fouling.  
Palin throws a left hook, but Fridge clinches his opponent.  Fridge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Fridge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fridge lands a solid right hook.  Fridge tries to land a right uppercut, but Palin sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Palin lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fridge hits home with a right hook.  
Fridge lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Fridge ties up his opponent.  Palin pushes his forearm into Fridge's face.  The ref breaks Fridge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
