Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/06/2032 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vihtori Itkonen (24(1) - 7) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Eerikki Rautakorpi(4 - 6) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Itkonen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Itkonen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rautakorpi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid jab.

Itkonen steps inside.  Itkonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Itkonen lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Itkonen clinches his opponent.  Itkonen uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Rautakorpi's kidney. 
Itkonen forces Rautakorpi to back into the ropes.  Itkonen digs in a firm right hook to Rautakorpi's ribcage.

Itkonen manouvers Rautakorpi into the corner.  Itkonen is on target with a right hook.  
Rautakorpi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rautakorpi tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stinging jab.  
Itkonen digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Itkonen walks Rautakorpi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Itkonen lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Itkonen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Itkonen ties up his opponent.  Itkonen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Itkonen lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.

Rautakorpi gets on the inside.  Rautakorpi pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Itkonen steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Itkonen lands with a ramrod jab.  
Itkonen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rautakorpi pivots from in front of his opponent, but Itkonen lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Rautakorpi almost instantly recovers.
