Boxing Daily Report from the Cameroon National Finals 2031,  taking place on 17/03/2031 from Garoua, Cameroon:

The Garoua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Campbell Cantor (20 - 6) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Jeffrey Belcourt(7 - 2) from Bamenda, Cameroon.

Belcourt throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Belcourt advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Belcourt hits home with an overhand right.  
Belcourt manouvers Cantor onto the ropes.  Belcourt pivots to the left of his opponent, but Cantor is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cantor's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Belcourt pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cantor hits home with a right hook.  Cantor throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Cantor's body.

Cantor switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Belcourt cuts off the ring, trapping Cantor in a neutral corner.  Cantor connects with a cross.
