Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/12/2030 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (90(1) - 5) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Duncan Hailes(4 - 9) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Hailes attempts to land a jab, but Sanders sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sanders lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sanders lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Hailes hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hailes advances into close range and manouvers Sanders onto the ropes.  Sanders tries to land a left hook, but Hailes parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sanders is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Hailes tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a solid cross.  
Sanders switches the action to the outside.  Hailes connects with an overhand right.  
Hailes throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hailes feints a cross, but Sanders ignores the feint and is on target with a cross.  
Hailes is looking to close the distance and connects with a firm left hook.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Sanders attempts to land a right uppercut, but Hailes blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sanders lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Hailes pushes his forearm into Sanders's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hailes about fouling.  
Hailes attempts to land a right uppercut, but Sanders sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sanders cuts off the ring, trapping Hailes in the corner.  Sanders hits home with a right hook.  
Sanders connects with a left hook.  
Hailes connects with a solid left hook.  
Hailes lands a stinging left hook.  
Sanders drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Sanders gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Sanders clinches his opponent.  Hailes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Sanders lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Hailes leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hailes sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Sanders is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Sanders lands a left hook.  
Sanders walks Hailes down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sanders pivots from in front of his opponent, but Hailes hits home with a right uppercut.  
Sanders gets on the inside.  Sanders pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sanders goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hailes time to recover.  
Hailes connects with a cross.  
Hailes stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Sanders tries to land a cross, but Hailes sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hailes lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
