Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/10/2030 from Perth, Australia:

The Perth venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (67 - 4) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Ashley Sotir(4 - 12) from Perth, Australia.  

Round 1:

Sotir attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Sanders's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Sanders feints a left, and then tries to land a jab, but Sotir slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Sotir attempts to land a cross, but Sanders sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sotir closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sotir digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sotir attempts to land a left hook, but Sanders blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders feints a right, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Sanders feints a cross, and then drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanders feints a jab, and then lands a jab.  
Sotir advances into close range and walks Sanders onto the ropes.  Sotir hits home with a right hook.  
Sotir is on target with a right hook to Sanders's body.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Sotir steps inside.  Sanders is on target with a left hook to Sotir's ribs.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Sotir is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
