Hugh Nethery vs Jack Tully

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2029,  taking place on 29/03/2029 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hugh Nethery (13 - 13) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Jack Tully(39 - 17) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Nethery steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Tully slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Tully is looking to close the distance.  Tully pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Tully is on target with a right hook to Nethery's body.  
Tully closes the distance.  Nethery lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nethery drives a solid right uppercut into Tully's body.  
Tully drives a left hook into Nethery's body.  
Nethery is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Tully slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tully manages to force Nethery onto the ropes.  Tully lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Tully tries to land a left hook, but Nethery sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Tully forces Nethery to retreat onto the ropes.  Nethery throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Tully time to recover.  
Nethery throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Nethery is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nethery sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tully attempts to land a jab, but Nethery dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
