Diego Castillon vs Santiago Loya

Boxing Daily Report from the Bolivia National Finals 2028,  taking place on 11/03/2028 from Quillacollo, Bolivia:

The Quillacollo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Castillon (12 - 12(2)) who hails from Sacaba, Bolivia and Santiago Loya(13 - 15) from El Alto, Bolivia.

Loya lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Castillon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Loya hits home with a cross.  
Loya sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Castillon connects with a right uppercut.  
Loya digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Loya connects with a right hook.  
Loya tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Loya advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Castillon digs in a left uppercut to Loya's body.  
Castillon steps away from his opponent.  Castillon feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Loya gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Loya throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Loya holds on to his opponent.  Castillon pushes his forearm into Loya's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
