Boxing Daily Report from the Philippines National Finals 2027,  taking place on 11/04/2027 from Davao City, Philippines:

The Davao City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ivan Laig (11 - 14) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and Clint Buni(3 - 13) from Manila, Philippines.

Laig pivots to the left of his opponent.  Laig attempts to land a left uppercut, but Buni blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laig hits home with a right hook.  
Laig digs in a left uppercut to Buni's body.  
Laig walks Buni onto the ropes.  Laig is on target with a right hook to Buni's ribcage.
