Farhan Siddiqi vs Yasin Sajjad

Boxing Daily Report from the Iran National Finals 2027,  taking place on 26/03/2027 from Isfahan, Iran:

The Isfahan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Farhan Siddiqi (12 - 9) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Yasin Sajjad(13 - 9) from Tehran, Iran.  

Round 1:

Sajjad lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Siddiqi tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Sajjad connects with a left uppercut.  
Sajjad is on target with a right hook.  
Sajjad lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Siddiqi pivots to the side of his opponent and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sajjad to the neutral corner.  He tells Siddiqi he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Siddiqi feints a left hook, and then is on target with a stinging jab.  
Sajjad advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  Sajjad tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Siddiqi switches the action to the outside.  Siddiqi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Siddiqi pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab to Sajjad's body.  
Siddiqi tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Sajjad steps inside and forces Siddiqi to retreat into a corner.  Sajjad is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Siddiqi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Siddiqi pushes his forearm into Sajjad's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Siddiqi to stop fouling.  
Siddiqi switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Siddiqi connects with a sharp cross.  
Siddiqi hits home with a solid cross.  
Sajjad manouvers Siddiqi into a neutral corner.  Sajjad lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Siddiqi is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Sajjad throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sajjad advances into close range.  Siddiqi connects with a left hook.  Siddiqi attempts to land a right hook, but Sajjad slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Sajjad walks Siddiqi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Siddiqi throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Siddiqi clinches his opponent.  Sajjad is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Sajjad is on target with a right hook to Siddiqi's ribcage.  Siddiqi ties up his opponent.  Sajjad leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Sajjad pushes his forearm into Siddiqi's face.  The referee warns Sajjad and breaks the clinch.  
Siddiqi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Siddiqi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Siddiqi throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.
