Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2027,  taking place on 26/03/2027 from Tampere, Finland:

The Tampere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sami Vatanen (4 - 17) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Tenho Marttila(17 - 9) from Tampere, Finland.

Marttila closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Vatanen on the ropes.  Marttila pivots from in front of his opponent.  Marttila goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Vatanen time to recover.

Vatanen tries to land a right hook, but Marttila slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Marttila is looking to close the distance.  Marttila pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Vatanen's body.  
Vatanen digs in a right hook to Marttila's body.  
Marttila manages to force Vatanen into the corner.  Vatanen hits home with a solid right hook.  
Marttila steps to the outside.  Vatanen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Marttila lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
