Harvey Chipendo vs Ian Malajila

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2039,  taking place on 26/04/2039 from Harare, Zimbabwe:

The Harare venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Harvey Chipendo (26(1) - 8) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ian Malajila(1 - 6) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Chipendo is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Chipendo forces Malajila to back into the ropes.  Chipendo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Malajila throws a left hook, but Chipendo ties up his opponent.  Malajila pushes his forearm into Chipendo's face.  The ref breaks Chipendo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chipendo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Chipendo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Chipendo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chipendo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chipendo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chipendo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Malajila lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chipendo gets on the inside.  Chipendo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Chipendo manages to force Malajila onto the ropes.  Chipendo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chipendo lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Chipendo holds on to his opponent.  Chipendo pushes his forearm into Malajila's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chipendo voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Malajila accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Chipendo.  
Malajila is looking to keep his distance.  Chipendo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chipendo connects with a left hook.  
Chipendo lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Malajila throws a right hook, but Chipendo clinches his opponent.  Chipendo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chipendo to stop fouling.  
Chipendo is on target with a left hook to Malajila's body.  
Chipendo gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.
