Peter Elijah vs Sean Saunders

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/02/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Elijah (54(13) - 21) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Sean Saunders(0 - 3) from St. Petersburg, USA.  

Round 1: 

Elijah lands a straight 1 - 2.

The ref breaks Elijah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Elijah gets on the inside.  Elijah pivots to the left of his opponent, but Saunders is on target with a left hook to Elijah's body.  
Elijah closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook.  Elijah holds on to his opponent.  Saunders leans on his opponent using all his weight. Saunders is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Saunders about fouling.  
Elijah lands a solid jab.  
Elijah closes the distance.  Elijah sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Elijah drives a solid right hook into Saunders's ribcage.  Elijah clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Elijah pushes his forearm into Saunders's face.  The referee warns Elijah and breaks the clinch.
