Rafael Celeste vs Jeraldo Ortolano

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/09/2038 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rafael Celeste (52 - 6) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Jeraldo Ortolano(0 - 1) from Santa Clara, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Ortolano lands a cross.  
Celeste is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ortolano tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.

Celeste tries to keep the action at long range.  Celeste waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Ortolano is on target with a jab to Celeste's body.  
Celeste quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Celeste tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.  
Ortolano pivots to the right of his opponent, but Celeste is on target with a solid cross.  
Ortolano switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Celeste quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ortolano advances into close range.  Celeste digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Celeste stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Ortolano is on target with a cross.

Ortolano gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Ortolano leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Celeste is whaling away with hooks, but Ortolano keeps his defence tight.  Celeste throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Ortolano's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
